A4 Multitronic shudder came back after a fluid change and I'm losing hope
I thought I'd done everything right with my 2014 Audi A4, took it to a specialist last year who changed the CVT fluid and for a few glorious months the judder at low speeds completely disappeared and I was actually enjoying my commute from Sharjah to Dubai again without that horrible feeling that the gearbox was about to grenade itself at every traffic light on Al Ittihad Road, but now the shudder is creeping back and it's worse when the car is fully warmed up and I can feel it through the whole chassis like a subtle vibration that just won't go away no matter how gently I apply the throttle. My usual garage near Abu Shagara threw his hands up and said he's done everything he can and suggested I find some proper Audi Transmission Repair Experts Sharjah who actually have the right software to recalibrate the clutch adaptations and check the condition of the valve body solenoids rather than just doing another fluid flush that might only mask the problem for another six months. I found a few names online and one place in Industrial Area 5 seems to have a decent reputation with the local Audi groups on Facebook but I'm just so tired of throwing money at this car and wondering if this is finally the repair that sticks or if I'm just prolonging the inevitable and should cut my losses and trade it in for something with a boring old torque converter that doesn't act like a temperamental diva every time the ambient temperature climbs above forty degrees. Anyone on here actually managed to get their Multitronic or S Tronic box properly sorted in Sharjah and can tell me it's worth the effort or if I should just start browsing Dubizzle for a clean Lexus and call it a day?
