No, ACC is not harmful at all, it is suitable enough even to teens or younger users. It does not have any negative, offensive, and risky connotations. It is nothing more than a brief variant of actually, and most young people tend to use it in order to convey corrections or sincere feelings and factual reports. It can even assist them to be able to communicate better and prevent misunderstandings by using ACC. They should however learn to apply it in the appropriate context; it is very casual and therefore it should be restricted to texting, chats, and social media.
