Someone smashed my S-Class window in Khalifa City – need a proper replacement shop
Woke up last week to find the passenger side window on my S550 smashed and nothing even stolen, just vandalism. I was dreading going to the dealer because they quoted me nearly 4000 dirhams for the glass and labor, so I started asking around for a place that actually knows how to handle the acoustic laminated glass and the pinch sensors without messing up the door module. A buddy recommended a luxury car window glass replacement workshop he used for his Audi, and I ended up taking it to Exotic Car Care after seeing their page for car glass repair in Abu Dhabi. They sourced OEM glass same day, calibrated the window regulator perfectly, and even vacuumed all the broken shards out of the door panel. Total was less than half the dealer price and the window works exactly like before. Just wanted to share in case anyone else gets hit by this nonsense – don't automatically run to the dealer for glass.
