Dealership vs Mussafah specialist for my JK, can't decide
So my 2014 JK is due for its 100k service and I'm honestly torn between just biting the bullet at the dealer or finding a good independent shop in Mussafah. The dealer quoted me a ridiculous amount for spark plugs and fluids, but they'll stamp the book and maybe catch something I'd miss otherwise, you know? Then again I keep stumbling across Jeep Service Mussafah in every forum thread I read, seems like half the Wranglers in Abu Dhabi are maintained there for half the price and twice the know-how. My fear is that if I go independent I'll save money now but then when something major fails the dealer won't want to touch it under any extended warranty. Anyone else been through this dilemma and what did you end up doing? Honestly I don't want to cheap out but also don't want to feel like an idiot for overspending on a 10 year old car.
