Whining noise from rear of my BMW – differential gone bad?
I've noticed a low pitched whine from the back of my 2015 550i that gets louder as I speed up, and it changes pitch when I let off the gas. I'm terrified it's the differential because I've heard those repairs can cost a fortune. I don't want to just replace the whole unit if it's something simple like low fluid or a worn bearing. Does anyone know a Differential Repair Workshop Dubai BMW that actually opens up the diff and rebuilds it instead of just swapping it? I'd love to find a place that can diagnose properly and maybe just replace the bearings or seals if that's all it needs. Also curious if they use the correct BMW fluid afterwards. Any advice before I take it somewhere and get a heart attack quote would be amazing.
